This is an attempt at a flash chapbook of poetry.  These poems were written between April 4, 2020 and April 6, 2020.

This thin, very thin volume is entitled, In Our Time, coming from The Common Book of Prayer in the Middle Ages.  Which we may be in once again.

These poems are in response to the COVID – 19 reality.

A reality that has scorned all political and geographical borders.  It has shown how all of us are utterly connected.  And we languish because leaders cannot come to a consensus of our shared humanity.

So I have turned to what has so often turned to me – poetry.  The world of Imagination and Metaphor that has, does, and can reveal Facts and Truth in startling clarity.

There are seven brief poems.
